This month's Main Story is on the cancer vaccine company, Dendreon. This company leads the pack with a personalized vaccine making use of an allogenic antigen cassette and autologous dendritic cells. Provenge, their prostate cancer treatment, is in late Phase III trials. Mylovenge, for the treatment of multiple myeloma and amyloidosis, is in multiple phase II trials. APC8024 is in Phase I trials for breast and ovarian cancer.
