We first mentioned
Corcept Therapeutics (CORT) in a sidebar of our
September 2002 Newsletter. CORLUX™
(generic name: mifepristone) is also known as RU-486 (the abortion pill)
and Corcept holds the use patents for psychotic depression. Corcept was
seeing initial success in using mifepristone as a novel treatment for
psychotically depressed patients. |
 |
|
| With a small market cap and
advanced clinical data, this company becomes an interesting investment
play. |
